Camila Cabello is fully embracing the seasonal shift with a fresh new hairstyle. The 27-year-old singer turned to her go-to celebrity hairstylist, Dimitris Giannetos, for a chic transformation he’s dubbed the “Birkin bob”—and it’s definitely one to add to your list of fall haircut ideas. The “Havana” hitmaker debuted her new look at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas, pairing it with a sheer ombré dress from New York-based designer Grace Ling’s spring 2025 collection.
Lucky for us, Giannetos shared some insight into Cabello’s shorter ‘do. “I wanted to create something edgy but at the same time very sophisticated for Camila’s appearance at the iHeartRadio Music Festival,” Giannetos told Elle UK. “Jane Birkin was my inspiration for the hair, so I recreated Birkin’s bangs and cut in a long bob. For color, I used L’Oréal Paris Superior Preference for a shiny espresso martini shade, and after the haircut, I styled the hair with a round brush.” Check out her cut and color below.

And because they “have a soft edge,” celebrity hairstylist Kennedy Trisler explains, “they frame the face more than typical straight-across bangs and can be styled in many different ways.”
