When Lacey Tisch and Lauren Zucker revealed their wellness oasis of Sage + Sound on New York’s Upper East Side late-fall, they had one rule: The massive—as in a 5,000-square-foot space that was previously home to a Duane Reade—had to be unpretentious.
Calm Club
Whether you want to set up shop on a laptop, receive acupuncture, or indulge in a Tracie Martyn, Osmosis or Biologique Recherche facial, Tisch and Zucker say the “essence” of the space is to deliver “wellness your way.”
Mind Full
Body treatments, manicures by Sundays Nail Studio, eyebrow shaping, a health-conscious café, and a very curated beauty and wellness selection also deliver a serious nod to self-care.
Best Of
Under the guidance of program director Ryan Haddon, “The Study” is Sage + Sound’s most serious offering, with classes in meditation, sound experience, breathwork and much more, seven days a week.
The brand is curated with what Tisch and Zucker deem as the best products, practitioners and healers to foster “a community of anyone looking to improve their quality” of life. “The goal is to deliver self-care in a revitalizing, approachable and judgment free-environment.”
