There’s nothing better than starting your week off with a relatable celebrity moment. And we can’t think of a better one than an A-lister finally trying to make exercising as tolerable as possible. While some names, like Carrie Underwood and Khloe Kardashian, proudly spend hours in the gym each day and enjoy it, others like Mindy Kaling do their best to keep it simple and effective.

Today, the actress shared her surprisingly simple “signature summer workout” on her Instagram stories. Instead of involving trainers and at-home Pilates equipment, Kaling’s exercise routine is easy to follow. As she explains, it consists of “walking slowly at an obnoxious incline for the length of an episode of Mad Men.”

The star has received a lot of attention over her recent 40-pound weight loss. In a recent interview with Allure, Kaling was quick to shut down discussions about her weight after being asked to respond to people who have claimed “they’ve lost an ally” in her because of her body changes. “It’s not super exciting for me to talk about my body and how it’s analyzed,” she said. “So, I think I’m just not going to get into it because it takes over the conversation unfortunately and people take it so personally.”

The star’s workout might sound a little too simple, but one look at her newly toned physique will have you running to the gym like we were. If all it takes to look like Mindy Kaling is a treadmill and a TV, we’re in.
