Celebrity beauty and wellness brands are not a new phenomenon, but menopause—often referred to as the last taboo in women’s health—is seeing a fresh wave of celebrity-led awareness and innovation. The category is rapidly expanding, and Halle Berry is now joining the ranks of Naomi Watts, Drew Barrymore and Judy Greer by launching a menopause-focused product line through her wellness brand, Respin. Berry has partnered with intimate wellness brand Joylux to introduce products transforming how women approach their intimate health during menopause.
Earlier this year, the 58-year-old actress shared that she initially mistook her perimenopause symptoms for something else, receiving a terrible misdiagnosis after experiencing severe pain. Realizing later that her symptoms were related to perimenopause, she emphasized the lack of information and support she received from her own doctor. Now, Berry is using her platform to raise awareness and change the cultural perception of menopause, starting with the LET’S SPIN Intimacy Gel ($45) and vFit Plus Red Light Intimate Wellness Device ($495) to address menopause-related issues like vaginal dryness and pelvic health.
The intimacy gel is designed to make things more comfortable and enjoyable, especially for women dealing with vaginal dryness. It’s made with clean ingredients like hyaluronic acid and aloe vera. The vFit Plus uses red-light therapy to help with pelvic health. This version comes in a special edition chrome finish. It’s packaged in Berry’s signature Respin box, designed by Respin with EstablishedNYC, complete with a personal message from the star.
Addressing the Intimacy Challenges
Inspired by the positive changes she experienced herself, Berry says she saw firsthand how these types of products could make a difference. “When I realized that the product I needed wasn’t on the market, I decided to make it myself. We’ve been hard at work for the past year with Joylux Ob-Gyn, Dr. Sarah de la Torre, developing and testing LET’S SPIN Intimacy Gel. We’ve perfected the formulation by using all clean ingredients, including hyaluronic acid and aloe, and making it pH-balanced for delicate, intimate tissue. This product has changed my life,” said Berry.
“After years of dedication to developing products that enhance women’s lives, receiving the call from Halle and Respin was very validating,” said Colette Courtion, founder and CEO of Joylux, in a press release. “With Halle’s powerful voice, advocacy and Respin platform, we’re positioned to amplify our message and reach millions more women who want to advance their health and wellbeing. LET’s SPIN is a product for everyone.”
