International model and former Victoria’s Secret Angel Elsa Hosk doesn’t need any makeup. She’s naturally gorgeous and loves a more natural look in her day-to-day, which is why she created two beauty products that can be used to enhance your natural beauty but are also super buildable so you can achieve a more glam look when you want. We chatted with the style icon, home design queen and new mother to talk about her latest launches and more.
How would you describe the power of makeup?
“I love how you can transform and feel your best with makeup. It just enhances what you already have. I’m all about natural beauty, so my products made with Beaubble are just about that. An effortless everyday look.”
How has being a mother made you feel more beautiful?
“It has made me feel beautiful in so many ways! It made me accept myself in a whole new way. I don’t sweat the small stuff or ‘imperfections’ anymore—I’m embracing it. There are more important things that our bodies do! I feel like it made me love myself like truly love myself.”
Tell us about the Cushion Blush. What makes it different from other blushes?
“It’s a Cushion Blush ($42), which makes it special and really cool to put on. It’s also serum-based, packed with skin-care ingredients that are good for you. The colors are inspired by coral glow at golden hour, and the ‘cherry blossom’ is a cool pink inspired by the makeup of the 90s and early 2000s.”
What do you love about the Lip Contour Wand? What favorite glosses or lipsticks have you paired it with?
“I love that my Lip Contour Wand ($34) made with Beaubble makes your lips appear fuller! It’s so natural-looking, and it really works. I wear it mostly on its own, but sometimes if I go to dinner or out, I’ll pair it with Charlotte Tilbury Iconic Nude Liner ($24) and a lip gloss.”
What made you want to create makeup products?
“Because they are awesome! They let me be free in what I want. [I created] what I feel is missing in the market or products I know my fans and community will love.”
What does your skin-care routine look like?
“So simple. I don’t have time for a 10 step skin-care routine anymore, so I focus on a few products that really work for me.”
Is there anything you do for self-care?
“Baths! I’m obsessed with a long bath. At the end of the day, when all work is done and Tuuli is in bed. Ah, the best!”
