As a red-carpet regular, Naomi Watts has this awards thing down. Last night’s Emmys were no exception, as the star hit the red carpet with husband Billy Crudup, a glamorous emerald silk gown from Balenciaga and her signature glow.
On the glam front Watts worked with long-time stylist Jeanann Williams, who has a sharp eye for what’s current but, just as importantly, for what feels true to Watts’ fashion sense. Watts also worked with her makeup artist Mary Wiles, who has a soft touch for makeup that “helps her look refreshed and ready to roll.” And Robert Vetica came all the way from Milan to Los Angeles to do Watts’ hair for the special night.
One other secret to beauty success: A product from Watts’ own Stripes line, the menopause-focused brand she founded.
“Naomi’s makeup look was modern chic polished and effortless, showing the beauty that Naomi is,” shared Wiles.
Watts was also diligent about taking care of the skin on her body before hitting the show. As Stripes shared with us, she reached for The Full Monty ($65) pre-carpet. The body oil delivers an “extra boost of hydration and radiance to keep skin glowing, luminous and vibrant all night long from the carpet to the after party.”
She is also quick to say, “It’s not sticky or messy, which is important for the red carpet. It also feels and smells incredible, which is an added bonus!”
The body-oil blend is crafted with hydrating squalane, antioxidant-rich acai oil, vitamins C and E and Kakadu plum. Besides elevating skin’s radiance, it nourishes and illuminates the skin, delivering deep hydration and an allover luminous glow.
