Blake Lively knows how to dress for a theme, and the 36-year-old actress has had her fair share of epic outfits and manicures to prove it. Her latest press tour for the upcoming Colleen Hoover book-turned-film It Ends With Us is the perfect example. The star, who plays the fictional character Lily Bloom, a flower shop owner, has been working with her go-to manicurist, Elle Gerstein, to create the perfect floral manicures to complement her role—and they just keep getting better.

Case in point: Gerstein describes the Blake Brown Beauty founder’s latest nail look as a “minimalist watercolor” design. In a photo shared to the nail artist’s Instagram grid, fans get an up-close look at her client’s long, almond-shaped nails, starring a soft pink base with tips decorated in delicate floral designs in muted tones—a fresh, subdued twist on more defined French manicures, and a must-have to add to your summer manicure inspo.

Fortunately, Gerstein even shared the exact nail polish shades she used to achieve the look in the caption of her Instagram photo. For the base, she opted for Essie’s Fairy Tailor, calling it the “perfect translucent and neutral base to complement the nail art.” She finished the look with Essie’s Gel Couture Top Coat for a “beautiful shine.”

Lively’s latest manicure comes just a week after she and her nail artist revealed her jaw-dropping “micro-floral garden party” manicure. Gerstein used Essie Gel Couture Longwear Nail Polish in Chiffon the Move for the base and a handful of Essie shades (namely All Checked Out, Blanc, and the Nail Art Studio’s Jelly Gloss in Blush Jelly) for the flowers, livening them up with intricately painted greenery courtesy of the shades Off Tropic and Willow in the Wind. One of our favorite details was the addition of gold foil flakes for a “glamorous effect.”

“This nail look was an incredible collaborative design with Blake, inspired by her character and chosen outfits for her press day!” Gerstein said in a press statement. “Chiffon the move was the perfect base in creating a striking contrast with the nail art. The micro-floral design pays homage not only to her character’s career as a florist, but also to the themes of growth, resilience, and the beauty that can emerge from life’s challenges.”

No matter which of the two nail designs you use as inspiration for the rest of your summer nail art, you can’t go wrong with either. And not to make matters even more complicated, but we have a feeling Lively and Gerstein have even more floral nail looks in store ahead of the movie’s official release on Friday, August 9. Don’t worry—our Instagram alerts are on.
