The music industry’s biggest night is officially here. Following a handful of film and television award shows, we’re excited to celebrate the biggest names in music at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards. Ahead, the best beauty looks from the 2024 Grammys, straight from the red carpet.
Mariah Carey
The music icon looked flawless in a floor-length, gold beaded gown with a dramatic side slit. A jet-black smoky eye, voluminous waves, a glossy nude lip, and a bright white smile. We think this is one of Mariah’s best looks ever!
Kelsea Ballerini
Nominated for “Best Country Album,” the singer-songwriter went with Old-Hollywood glam for this year’s Grammys. Her go-to makeup artist Kelsey Deenihan used COVERGIRL products—Ballerini is an ambassador for the brand—for glowy skin, a bold eye and a glossy nude lip, Deenihan applied COVERGIRL Exhibitionist Creme Lipstick in Champagne, and topped it with Clean Fresh Yummy Gloss in Laugh-vender.
For her hair, celebrity stylist Danielle Priano says, “The inspiration behind Kelsea’s three-tiered ponytail was to create something structured and modern against the soft femininity of her black and purple dress.” Priano used Pantene products, including the Hydrating Anti-Frizz Serum “to seal the look and make sure it remained shiny.”
Lana Del Rey
Nominated for multiple awards, the singer-songwriter wore a semi-sheer black dress with velvet flowers and puffy sleeves. Heavy bangs and a big, silky black bow tied the look together, and a nude lip with overdrawn lip liner was the perfect makeup choice.
Celebrity makeup artist Etienne Ortega used Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat in Iconic Nude and the brand-new Hollywood Beauty Icon Lipstick in Icon Baby.
Chrissy Teigen
The A-lister turned heads in a mini black dress with a large pink rosette at the hip. Her hair was styled in a textured bob, just above her collarbone, and her girly-glam makeup featured candy-pink lipstick.
Irinel De León is the celebrity hairstylist behind Teigen’s “effortless French girl” hairstyle. “We wanted it to look very feminine by incorporating natural textures. Since the dress is a little playful, we wanted the hair to feel similar. Chrissy’s hair is currently in a bob, which is a trend we’re seeing a lot of lately. It also encompasses some of her natural texture, which is super popular.” De León used OLAPLEX Volumizing Blow Dry Mist on Teigen’s roots and ends for added lift, volume and heat protection.
Paris Hilton
The singer and reality star went with a mermaid vibe for tonight’s show. Her signature long blonde strands and shimmery eyeshadow were the perfect match for her turquoise beaded Reem Acra gown.
Taylor Swift
Nominated for several awards, including “Album of the Year,” the superstar went in more of a bold direction tonight, pairing a white, structured corset gown from Schiaparelli with her signature cat-eye and red lip. She kept her long hair over her shoulder to one side, tousled with a playful braid.
Heidi Klum
A voluminous, deep side part and intense eye makeup were the stars of the supermodel’s red-carpet beauty look, which complemented her bedazzled black dress.
Olivia Rodrigo
The Vampire singer is wearing a vintage Versace gown from 1995, paired with a bright, red lip and long, Old-Hollywood waves. She is both a nominee and a performer at tonight’s show.
Gracie Abrams
For her Grammys debut, the “Best New Artist” nominee paired her head-to-toe CHANEL look—the singer is a CHANEL ambassador—with a feathery brow and chic, tousled lob. CHANEL makeup artist Tyron Machhausen says, “I wanted to create a fresh and natural look, with glowy skin, combined with a strong brow, and a hint of ‘leftover’ eyeliner. This created a hyper-natural, ‘lived in’ look with a hint of rock ’n roll.”
Celebrity hairstylist Bobby Eliot used John Frieda’s Frizz Ease collection to keep the singer-songwriter’s hair “effortless and not take away from the simplicity of her look.”
Ella Balinska
The actress stunned in a gorgeous, lingerie-esque Dolce & Gabbana gown. For her hair, she chose an elegant updo with wispy bangs and face-framing pieces. And for makeup, a glossy nude lip and smoky eye completed the look.
Miley Cyrus
Jaws dropped as Grammy nominee Miley Cyrus arrived in a sheer Maison Margiela mini dress and sky-high bouffant, showcasing her bronzed makeup look.
“For Miley at the Grammys, I wanted her to glow like a golden goddess, a touchable beauty,” says celebrity makeup artist James Kaliardos for Pat McGrath Labs. “Miley and I collaborated on her skin today—and literally on everything—for her fresh-faced look! The end result is just gorgeous with perfected shapes and a tonal palette with golden goddess punctuations.”
Kaliardos sculpted her cheeks with Skin Fetish: Divine Bronzer in Nude Honey; accentuated her eyes with Mothership X: Moonlit Seduction; and filled in her lips with MatteTrance Lipstick Heart’s Desire Edition in Honey Haze.”
Dua Lipa
Dripping in Tiffany & Co. jewels and a custom Chainmail gown, Dua Lipa hit the red carpet with fresh, glowing skin, a coral lip and wavy red hair.
Lainey Wilson
Trading in her waist-grazing strands for a shorter ‘do, Grammy nominee Lainey Wilson is a vision in an all-black suit and matching signature cowboy hat, inspired by Johnny Cash.
“My inspiration was Bridget Bardot, but with a modern twist in keeping radiance, dimension and color in the skin,” says makeup artist Nikki DeRoest. She used ALLEVEN INSTANT Lip Cheek Eye in Gold as a final touch for a radiant gold highlight on the cheekbones. “I love using these products because I know they stay all day and don’t transfer onto clothes, and have the most beautiful finish.”
Alix Earle
Making her Grammys debut, TikTok’s resident “it girl” Alix Earle wowed with a fresh makeup moment and a classic blowout.
Gayle King
Stunning in a floor-length jumpsuit and classic bob, Gayle King might just be the most dazzling correspondent on tonight’s red carpet.
