When a celebrity coins a product as their must-have, we go crazy with the stockpiling, and Sarah Hyland’s favorite hair serum is no different.
In an article for The Strategist, Hyland praises the IN COMMON Magic Myst Universal Hair Elixir ($18), which was co-created by celebrity hairstylists Nikki Lee and Riawna Capri.
“I’ve been using their line for literal years now. It’s a UV-protecting leave-in conditioner that helps bring out the natural texture of your hair,” Hyland says in the interview. “A lot of the time I just put this in my hair and leave it be. My hair is naturally very, very curly. I don’t really have an oily scalp, and I’d say it’s more on the dry side. But with curls, I have to keep my hair as moisturized as possible. I also barely wash my hair once a week, to be honest. My hair is mostly dirty at all times, but at least it’s hydrated.”
Included in the product: the brand’s Custom Care Complex, which features a blend of two silk proteins and avocado to protect each hair fibers, vitamin B3 to strengthen the hair fibers and rose extract, a natural frizz tamer.
Among the brand’s other celebrity clients are Selena Gomez, Hilary Duff, Mandy Moore and Sydney Sweeney, who have all made features on the brand’s Instagram page and rely on Lee for all their shiny hair needs.
