Plastic Surgeons Say These Are the Most Sought-After Celebrity Noses

Blake Lively

New York plastic surgeon Jennifer Levine, MD says requests for a nose similar to Lively’s is common in her office. “Celebrities like Blake have naturally narrow and defined dorsums with defined tips that are rotated without being overly rotated,” she explains. “These celebrities also have graceful profiles and dorsal lines, meaning that the transition from the top of the nose to the tip falls into ideal aesthetic proportions.”

Stanford, CA facial plastic surgeon Sam P. Most, MD says Lively’s nose is a popular reference in his office as well, noting Lively underwent a very subtle rhinoplasty for her result. “Her contours were made a bit more angular, but not overly narrow,” says Dr. Most. “From the photos I’ve seen, there’s a significant asymmetry of her tip.”

Hailey Bieber

Delray Beach, FL facial plastic surgeon Miguel Mascaró, MD says Hailey Bieber always get shout outs from his patients, noting that the supermodel has a nose that “fits her face” and doesn’t look “done, in the traditional sense of the word.”

Margot Robbie

Another popular reference in Dr. Mascaró’s practice is Margot Robbie, for the same reason he believes Bieber’s nose is so sought after. “Her nose doesn’t look ‘done,’ but continues to carry the traits that we often associate with a pretty nose:  defined, contoured and well-proportioned.”  

Kim Kardashian

The Kardashian nose is always in high demand. Chicago plastic surgeon Julius Few, MD says the tip of Kim’s nose is full, but not too full, and her nostrils have a slight flare to them without being pinched. New York facial plastic surgeon Andrew Jacono, MD adds that her nose has a defined bridge that goes to a soft tip without any hint of it being “pinchy” or overly sharp. “Oftentimes people cannot recall exactly what Kim’s nose looks like because it’s so balanced on her face that it blends into the landscape,” he says. 

Bella Hadid

“One of the most sought-after noses that we hear about is Bella Hadid,” notes Short Hills, NJ facial plastic surgeon Alexander Ovchinsky, MD. Hadid has smooth nasal bridge and a very slight up-turned tip, but Dr. Ovchinksy says while her nose may be perfect for her, that doesn’t mean it’s perfect for everyone. 

Dr. Most notes that Hadid is often referenced in his practice as well. “She underwent a dramatic rhinoplasty with an obvious creation of a ski-slope and ‘done’ look,” notes the surgeon.

Kwak, MD. “Her profile shows a dorsal height that has appropriate tip projection and rotation with a dorsal height only suggestive of a concavity. “ 

Kylie Jenner

“Kylie is the number one most-often-mentioned celebrity,” adds Dover, OH facial plastic surgeon David Hartman, MD. “My patients like that Kylie’s nose has a beautiful shape, is feminine, and fits perfectly with the rest of her face— especially her eyes and lips. Her nose has a very refined look. Her nasal tip has a more delicate, defined, feminine character. Moving up the nose from the tip, there is a slight ‘scoop’ which again adds a feminine character to her nose. The reduction of the nose continues all the way up her nose to the bridge, between her eyes. There is no any evidence of a nasal ‘hump,’ which is perhaps the most common complaint that people have who are seeking rhinoplasty.”

Angela Yeung Wing aka Angelababy

“For model and actress Angela Yeung Wing, or Angelababy, she has again a dorsal contour which is defined enough to frame her eyes but not too sharp or narrow,” says Dr. Kwak. “Her bridge nicely transitions to her tip, which has a refined and defined appearance without being too pointy or sharp. Her tip defining point nicely transitions along the alar rim avoiding a ‘parenthesis’ look around the tip. Her dorsal height and tip projection are high enough to provide definition but not too high as to dominate her face.”

Jessica Alba

Palo Alto, CA facial plastic surgeon David Lieberman, MD says Jessica Alba is one of the most commonly referenced celebrities in his practice when it comes to rhinoplasties, crediting her nose’s “slender profile and feminine lift” as main draws.

Emma Watson

Dr. Lieberman says patients tend to gravitate toward celebrities with familiar- and natural-looking noses, such as Emma Watson’s. What makes them look so effortless and soft: “The tip [of the nose] has some structure and volume, so it doesn’t look pinched overly narrow,” explains Dr. Lieberman.

Meghan Markle

Ever since the Duchess of Sussex entered the spotlight, there has been an influx of patients referencing the Royal’s nose in their plastic surgery consultations. Between the refined tip and natural-looking (tiny) hump, her nose is the perfect middle-ground for those who don’t want their nose to look too perfect but still sculpted. 

Zhang Ziyi 

Likely due to the soft, slender profile of Ziyi’s nose, Dr. Lieberman notes that the Crouching Tiger actress is commonly referenced in his rhinoplasty consults.

If you’re not ready for a rhinoplasty, makeup can work wonders to temporarily play down any slight imperfections, such as a moderately wide nose. Contouring along the side and highlighting across the bridge can help create a smaller-looking nose like Ziyi’s.

Natalie Portman

It should come as no surprise that Portman’s nose tops the list of most-requested celebrity noses in Dr. Liebertz’s office. “The modern feminine nose is straight, symmetric, well-defined, and strong without a significant ski slope or pinched tip,” he explains. “A well-proportioned nose does more than center the facial features; it draws attention to the eyes and provides balance between the upper third (forehead, brows and eyes) and the lower third of the face (mouth, jawline and chin).”

Scarlett Johansson

Johansson’s perfectly sculpted nose is another top-requested nose around the world. “What’s most important about her nose is that it complements her face,” contends Dr. Levine. “The nose allows for proper shadowing of the eyes and highlights the cheeks and lips.”

Angelina Jolie

There’s no better way to top those enviable lips than with a perfectly rotated nose that blends seamlessly with the rest of Jolie’s face. “Your nose is one of the first things people see when they look at your face, and it is very important to overall facial balance,” says Syracuse, NY facial plastic surgeon Robert M. Kellman, MD. “A well-done rhinoplasty can subtly enhance your features and restore facial harmony.” 

Halle Berry

Women still continue to request a nose that looks like Berry’s. New York facial plastic surgeon Jon B. Turk, MD says it’s her strong profile with a tip that preserves her ethnicity while remaining soft and elegant that makes her nose so in demand. “Her nose is also less angular and more contemporary in that it looks very natural.”

Kate Middleton

The Duchess of Cambridge‘s proportionate nose is near perfect with its straight straight structure and rounded tip. Reasons for rhinoplasty vary by age and gender, with men most often seeking hump reduction, and women most often looking for tip refinement. “She has a beautiful profile with a rotation of her tip that is the epitome of sophistication,” says New York facial plastic surgeon Matthew White, MD. Patients also often comment on how the width of her nose matches her face perfectly—it’s not too narrow.” 

Kate Beckinsale

Beckinsale has a perfectly angled nose free of any bumps or irregularities. Bumps occur when cartilage is uneven and causes the bridge of the nose to look high in a particular area and prevents a smooth transition from one area of the nose to the next. “The nose looks like it starts wherever the bump is, which is often halfway down the nose,” says New York facial plastic surgeon Minas Constantinides, MD. Cartilage that creates bumps can be removed surgically and the bone can be left intact if the bump is not too severe.

Adriana Lima

According to Dr. Turk, the tip of Lima’s nose is often requested. “Patients love the shape, width and definition of her nose,” he says. “Her tip is symmetrical and slightly separated and the highlights and shadows are all in the right place.” Despite the desire, Dr. Turk warns that a narrow, natural-looking tip like Lima’s isn’t always easy to achieve.

Ivanka Trump

The secret to Trump’s pretty nose? A demure tip and zero nostril flare. Perfecting wide nostrils is a less-severe surgical procedure because it does not involve the bone, however, to make the nostrils smaller, portions of the surrounding tissue are removed through incisions beneath and inside the nose so there are no obvious scars. While nostril shape varies by ethnicity, the nostrils should be symmetrical on the left and right sides.

Jessica Biel

Biel has a strong and straight nose that doesn’t distract from her green eyes and full lips. While most of us have a bit of asymmetry in our faces, a crooked nose can really accentuate them. In addition, a crooked nose can cause breathing problems. Whether from a deviated septum or an injury resulting in broken bone, a crooked nose can be straightened and reduced in size by moving the bones into a better position.

Charlize Theron

Theron has a lovely nose with just the right amount of volume at the tip. Repairing an overly bulbous nose tip, which can look as if it has a ball at the end, is considered one of the most challenging cosmetic nose surgeries because “the skin may or may not take the new shape, making it hard to anticipate the final result,” says St. Augustine, FL facial plastic surgeon Deirdre Leake, MD. When performing this difficult surgery, the plastic surgeon either narrows the cartilage or actually adds more cartilage for support and better definition.

Emma Stone

A physician group in Britain recently revealed that Stone’s nose is at the top of the list for patients requesting a renewed nose. One reason? The perfect upturn of the tip. The key to getting Stone’s nose is to ensure that there isn’t too much nostril showing. The nose job to fix this may require strengthening of the ligaments and fixing the tip by adding, removing or reconfiguring the cartilage. But, no two noses are the same. “It depends on the patient’s cartilage and skin,” says Dr. Leake.

Jennifer Lawrence

The key to achieving good results with rhinoplasty is to have realistic expectations—some celebrity noses just can’t be replicated if your bone structure and features aren’t similar. If you like the look of a slightly less narrow and angular nose, Lawrence is one to look to for inspiration. “Her nose is a good one to emulate because it’s realistically attainable for many patients,” says Dr. Turk.
