Starring opposite Harry Styles in the upcoming film Don’t Worry Darling, directed by Olivia Wilde, Florence Pugh is topping headlines left and right. On Monday, the English actress attended the world premier of the drama at the Venice Film Festival—and for once, it wasn’t the gossip surrounding the highly anticipated flick that took center stage.
Instead, Pugh’s timeless glam—created by celebrity makeup artist Alex Babsky—was the talk of the carpet. Featuring Valentino Beauty, the look featured “real skin,” a strong liner moment and a classic nude lip that has everyone talking.
To create a second-skin finish, Babsky used the Very Valentino Foundation before topping with the brand’s Go-Clutch Refillable Compact Powder in shade Bronzer 00 to add warmth. On the eyes, it was Twin Liner Eyeliner, softened and smudged with a brush, to create a “vintage” shape, and a coat of Magnificent Mascara on the lashes.
To complete the red-carpet look, Babsky applied the perfect nude lipstick shade, Rosso Valentino Refillable Lipstick ($55) in shade 108A, which he says, “added the perfect amount of ‘polish’ to her look without becoming a focal statement.” Along with a smooth, velvety texture, the lipstick is formulated with “color-boosting pearls” to deliver pigmented color with every swipe. If you’re in the market for a fresh nude lipstick that flatters all skin tones, be sure to add this one to cart—it won’t last long.
