- Describe your doctor-patient relationship dynamic.
Patients have symptoms 24 hours a day and we're here at all hours. There won't be an "I can't get a hold of your office or no one's picking up," situation. We're here on Thanksgiving, we're here on the weekends and we’re here when you need us.
- Which aesthetic concerns do you find yourself treating the most?
Acne, hyperpigmentation, aging concerns and hair loss.
- Which medical myth do you hear most often from patients?
That insurance will cover everything. In terms of virtual care, we are very reasonably priced for patients. Patients often think they should go to someone in their insurance network because they will pay less, however that's not always the case. We believe in transparency and so we don't currently
take insurance because it doesn't always cover virtual care, but we keep our fees accessible and affordable for round-the-clock, concierge-style care.
- How do you manage patient expectations?
With open communication and continued dialog to ensure I'm providing the care that patients expect and need. I listen to the patient to see what they want and try to give them exactly what they need if it's safe and suited for their condition. If they're able to produce information or find an option that supports what they want, even if it's not mainstream or common, then I'm willing to go along with them on that journey to finding the solution that works.
- Which dermatological advancements are most excited about right now?
Longer-lasting neurotoxin injections and evolving telehealth laws.
