Celebrity makeup artist Jo Baker is known for her super-artistic eye looks, but tonight’s Emmy glam for Natasha Lyonne—nominated for lead actress in a comedy series for her role in Poker Face—included a hard-hitting active-ingredient combo.
Using Typology’s skin care, Baker relied on a three-step Vitamin C boosting prep for Lyonne’s look.
“For optimum bounce and vitality, I pressed four drops of Radiance Serum with 11% Vitamin C by Typology ($43) onto her skin as the ultimatum nourishment,” Baker shares. The best-selling vegan serums is described by the brand as being “an active-rich serum that helps restore radiance.”
“On top, I layered the Radiance Serum with 11% Vitamin C with the 9-Ingredient Moisturizer ($37) both from Typology which provide a delicious hyper glide hydration, which is the perfect base for makeup!”
While Natasha was having her hair blown dry, Baker applied a Typology’s Resurfacing Lip Peel ($28.50) on her lips, which she calls “the most addicting invisible exfoliating glaze, which I personally have become fully obsessed with this week. It softens and smooths her lip surface ready for lip color later.”
Baker used her own makeup line, BAKEUP Beauty, to complete the look.
