Simone Biles recently dominated at the 2024 Xfinity U.S. Gymnastics Championships, extending her record with a ninth all-around title. The gymnast had full glam makeup while she was competing, and her makeup artist has shared some details on how she achieved the look.
Dallas-based makeup artist Alayza Casey shared photos of makeup looks she gave Biles on days one and two of the competition. She summed up the look for day one, which was particularly popular with her followers, as “matte glam.”
Casey provided a full product breakdown from the look on her LTK page. Judging by the assortment, she applied Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Foundation ($49) as a base, along with Hourglass Vanish Airbrush Concealer ($36). She also utilized Patrick Ta Major Headlines Blush Duo in the berry shade “she’s wanted” ($38) and MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Highlighting Powder in the shade gold deposit ($42) to enhance Biles’ complexion.
For Biles eyes—a focus of the look—Casey used shades from Patrick Ta Major Dimension III ($70), an eyeshadow palette with warm- and cool-tone nudes. She drew on winged liner with Anastasia Beverly Hills Waterproof Crème Color ($18) and used the Rare Beauty Brow Harmony Precision Eyebrow Pencil ($19) on Biles’ brows.
Perhaps most notable, though, are the products that Casey chose to set the look in place, given that she knew Biles would likely be breaking a sweat while competing.
