Here, we peek inside celebrity makeup artist Ermahn Ospina’s bag as he grooms and glams Cumming for a “Traitors” press tour.
Skin Care for the Faithful
“Starting with a clean canvas is essential,” Ospina says. “I begin by applying Glow Toner by Charlotte Tilbury ($55) to rid the skin of any residual oils and shaving cream.”
“I used The Good C Vitamin C serum by Dr. Barbara Sturm ($60) to infuse the skin with antioxidants for a radiant complexion. After I applied the Magic Cream by Charlotte Tilbury ($65) to moisturize and prep the skin.”
“When it comes to foundation, Ospina shares he opts for the Luminous Silk Foundation ($69) in shade #4 by Armani. To conceal imperfections, he used NARS Radiant Creamy concealer in Vanilla ($32) and added warmth to Cumming’s complexion with the Desert Island Duo in 1.5 Bloom Service/Bronze Voyage by Dibs Beauty ($16).
The Signature Smoky Eye
Cumming is known for embracing a signature makeup look that includes a “wee bit of smoky eyelid,” as the star says.
“For the eyes, I aim for a soft, smokey effect,” Ospina reveals. Enter the Caviar Tightline Eyeliner Pencil by Laura Mercier ($29). Add curled lashes and a light coat of Voluminous mascara in Carbon Black by L’Oréal and the eyes have it.
Elevating Cumming’s brows, Ospina shapes using the Brow Wiz in Soft Brown by Anastasia Beverly Hills ($25). “Defined brows frame the face and add dimension.” To set them in place, he used a touch the Mini Clear Brow Gel ($9).
Finishing Touches
“To ensure Alan’s lips remain moisturized throughout the day, I reach for the Magnificent Lip Balm by Orlane Paris ($45),” Ospina shares, prioritizing hydration and comfort.
“For the finishing touch, I dust on the Airbrush Brightening Flawless Finish powder in Fair-Medium ($48) by Charlotte Tilbury to set the look and minimize unwanted shine,” Ospina tells us. “And to ensure longevity, I rely on the Continuous Prep & Set Mist + by MORPHE ($17) for a seamless, long-lasting finish.”
