Alex Cooper invited Vogue behind the scenes of her busy life to dive into her current skincare regimen and the makeup routine she chose for her wedding day. In a YouTube video shared on June 28, the Call Her Daddy host shared her secrets and favorite products for achieving hydrated, blemish-free skin, and beyond. Keep reading for standout highlights from the video.
Alex Cooper’s Hydrating Skincare Routine
Cooper began her video with a surprising confession: she doesn’t wash her face. Despite the American Academy of Dermatology’s recommendation to wash your face twice a day, she admitted to skipping that step completely, noting that when she did, her breakouts ceased. Instead, she starts her routine with hydrating toner, followed by “two pumps” of the celebrity-loved COSRX Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence. “I will say, this has been the one product that has kept my skin more hydrated I would say, past 20 minutes,” she said. “I feel like whenever I’m putting on serums, I find that it feels amazing in the moment, and then all of a sudden I’m downstairs making my coffee and my skin is already dry. This keeps me glowing.”

She follows with the Biba De Sousa Plant Stem Cell Peptide Serum with Peptides ($95)—which she discovered in one of Hailey Bieber’s “get ready with me” routines—followed by La Roche-Posay Toleriane Dermallergo Creme Daily Repair Moisturizer ($33). Her final step for her skin is applying EltaMD UV Daily Broad-Spectrum SPF 40, before swiping on Burt’s Bees Lip Balm in Pomegranate ($4) which she particularly loves for its subtle tint.
Alex Cooper’s Wedding Makeup Routine
“Something that was really important to me on my wedding day was making sure I looked like myself,” she told viewers. She started with a primer, specifically the Laura Mercier Pure Canvas Primer ($46), followed by the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation. (“It deserves all the hype,” she says.)
Next, she applied the MakeupByMario SoftSculpt Shaping Stick to define her cheeks, forehead, nose, chin, and the outer corners of her eyes (for “a little lift”), blending it in with a makeup brush. She then added a touch of Nudestix Cream Blush in Pink Ice (a cool pink shade) and Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Seeker Highlighter ($38).
For her brows, Cooper used Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Styling Wax to groom them upward before filling in the inner corners with a brow pencil using light strokes.
The final touch in her wedding makeup routine was mascara. She curled her lashes with a curler and applied Glossier Lash Slick Mascara, finishing with a dab of lip oil.
