Believe it or not, the summer of Barbie and all things pink is now officially a calendar year behind us, as this week marked the one year anniversary of the infamous Barbenheimer premier(s) in theaters. While we’ve almost completely transitioned out of Barbiecore and into Brat summer, some of us still long for the days when Barbie pink reigned supreme.
Leave it to Heidi Klum, though, to single-handedly resurrect a trend in just one Instagram post. This summer has easily been the summer of nail trends, with butter yellows, futuristic chromes and even “farmer’s market chic” styles taking over the internet. If you, too, have been feeling nostalgic for the Barbie days and need inspiration to channel your inner Margot Robbie once again, Heidi Klum’s neon pink manicure will surely do it.

If there is one thing we know about Heidi Klum, it’s that she’s never afraid to go over the top. I mean, have you seen her Halloween costumes?! But, her eccentric style is not exclusive to spooky season, and her recent vacation Instagram video showed off her long, almost blindingly pink nails, and, honestly, we’re obsessed.
Clad in Intimissimi lingerie, Klum posted a short and sweet Instagram reel of her smiling and putting her sunglasses on by the pool, but we couldn’t take our eyes of her striking manicure. On what appears to be stiletto-shaped acrylics, Klum is rocking an electric, neon pink shade that has instantly transported us back to the summer of Barbie. There’s no better time than summer to experiment with bright colors, and Klum’s Barbiecore manicure might just be the push we needed.
