She’s ‘allergic’ to most lip products…
“My lips are almost allergic to almost every single product, like they’ll break out really bad,” she said, listing lip stains, lipsticks, and lip glosses among them. However, she noted that Laneige, NYX, and Charlotte Tilbury usually work for her, and occasionally, Hailey Bieber’s Rhode does, too. She asked her followers to share insights on why her lips might “burn, crack, and peel” after using certain products. Their responses flooded in. One person suggested she could have a beeswax allergy, while another shared similar struggles. “I only can use lip products from Sephora that are ‘clean beauty‘ and have no fragrance,” they wrote.
She still gets the pre-competition jitters…
At the beginning of her video, Biles admitted, “I just woke up from a nap and I feel so nervous, I feel sick,” while addressing the camera. Naturally, fans flocked to the comments section to hype her up and praise her vulnerability. “I love how nervous you are even though you’re literally SIMONE BILES!! You’re the GOAT!” Another commented, “Nerves if how you know you are in the right place!!”
She, too, finds applying winged eyeliner to be quite a process…
While Biles usually relies on a makeup artist for major competitions, she occasionally does her own makeup. For the 2024 Xfinity U.S. Gymnastics Championships, she worked with Dallas-based makeup artist Alayza Casey, who drew on winged liner with Anastasia Beverly Hills Waterproof Crème Color. This time, however, Biles took matters into her own hands. “I’m going to attempt a wing, so we’ll see how this goes,” she told the camera. Although she didn’t film herself applying the cat eyes, she later shared the result, using a makeup mirror to ensure they were even.
