The “tinted SPF space is crowded,” says Bethenny Frankel, and we couldn’t agree more. While we love being spoiled for choice when it comes to tinted sun protection, it can be hard to weed through all the products on the market. Thankfully, the entrepreneur and former The Real Housewives of New York City star has done the work and crowned a winner in the foundation and tinted SPF space.
“If you want a tinted SPF product, you’ve found your girl because I’ve tried them all,” Frankel says in a recent TikTok post. “Neutrogena makes the most incredible SPF foundation that has 20,” she says, holding up Neutrogena Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup Broad Spectrum SPF 20 ($12). Frankel goes so far as to say it’s “as good as Armani or Dior foundation.”
If you want something with a little less coverage for a more natural look, Frankel suggests Tower 28 SunnyDays SPF 30 ($30). “Tower is the best tinted SPF. I’m talking glides into your skin, matches your skin tone,” says Frankel. However, she doesn’t stop there. Frankel gives viewers a few more options.
According to Frankel, the runner-up to Tower 28 is ILIA Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 40 ($48). Then comes Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer Oil-Free Broad Spectrum SPF 20, followed by L’Oréal Age Perfect Radiant Serum Foundation ($17), with SPF 50.
