Sabrina Carpenter’s performance at the Governor’s Ball on Sunday, June 9, is creating quite the buzz across social media. The 25-year-old singer performed her new single, “Please Please Please,” live for the first time, shortly after releasing its music video featuring her and boyfriend Barry Keoghan. But that’s not all: She also gave fans a peek into her makeup routine for the show, showing off her new favorite lip balm: the Prada Beauty Moisturizing Lip Balm in the pH-reactive shade named Astral Pink.
Carpenter took to TikTok to share a clip of herself applying the luxuriously packaged Prada Beauty Moisturizing Lip Balm after Sunday’s performance. In the video, she dazzles in the sequined yellow minidress she wore onstage, paired with her signature beauty look by makeup artist Carolina Gonzalez: winged eyeliner, tastefully overdone blush, and overlined lips complemented by mauve lipstick. She applied the lip balm over her existing lip products, which gave her lips a dewy finish.
Unsurprisingly, Carpenter’s video has inspired beauty lovers to add the Prada Beauty Moisturizing Lip Balm to their virtual shopping carts en masse. As of now, her favorite shade, Astral Blue, is sold out across all major retailers.
The lip balm is a newer launch for Prada Beauty, first debuted by the brand on Instagram in a grid post on May 29. “Introducing the new Prada Balm in Astral Pink,” the brand wrote in the caption. “Make your lips blush in a unique rosy glow. Discover now to experience revived lip color and all-day comfort.”
While the lip balm is available in other shades, it’s worth noting that they don’t offer the same pH-reactive effect as the blue-colored one. Nonetheless, those still available are equally great for your lips, containing moisturizing jojoba oil and strengthening bifidus extract (a natural probiotic).

If you’re new to Prada Beauty, you’re certainly not alone. The designer label launched its first-ever makeup and skin care line just last August. One standout feature that sets Prada Beauty apart from other brands is its commitment to sustainability: all products in its color cosmetics line are refillable. That includes Carpenter’s favorite lipstick, of course, among other products such as its Soft Matte Foundation ($70) and Dimensions Multi-Effect Refillable Eyeshadow Palette ($80).
