If you take a peek at TikTok or Instagram, you’ll notice countless videos filled with interpretations of Hailey Bieber’s iconic beauty looks, from her flicked-out cat eye at the 2019 Met Gala to her dewy, glowing skin. As TMZ recently reported, the star has now filed legal documents for her very own beauty brand. What this means for society? Even more videos not only replicating her looks, but using the exact same products, too.
Looking to obtain the rights to the name “Rhode,” Bieber’s middle name, the model recently filed a trademark for the brand. According to TMZ, Rhode can be used on “beauty and wellness merch, bath and shower products, beauty creams, personal cleaning products, cosmetics, makeup, fragrances, haircare and skincare.”
While we have a good feeling about Rhode Beauty, this isn’t Bieber’s first rodeo in the cosmetics world. In 2019, Bieber filed a trademark for “Bieber Beauty,” which was rumored to be a line of skin and body-care products. According to The Blast, it was later refused by the U.S. Patent and Trademark officials because of potential confusion with preexisting trademarks owned by her husband, Justin Bieber.
Recently, the star and bareMinerals ambassador has been posting a lot more about her skin-care concerns and remedies on Instagram. In a recent post, her friend and singer Justine Skye commented “Skin queen” and a cosmetic chemist commented a string of hearts. Could Rhode Beauty be our next celebrity-favorite skin-care brand? We’ll just have to wait and find out.

In a recent picture posted by Bieber’s makeup artist, Nina Park, Rhode’s newly-created Instagram page is tagged, which means the brand is once step closer to launching. If you take a look at the biography of the page, it says “rhode skincare,” which gives us an ever bigger hint at the category of what’s to come. While we don’t know the exact launch date, The Zoe Report writes that Bieber gave us a hint back in November, when she lightly talked about the upcoming launch on her YouTube. “Rhode has been in the works for a very long time, and it is getting so close. It is coming in 2022, and I am very excited. That’s all I can say for now.”

In a recent Instagram post, Bieber shared new campaign images for Rhode, with caption, “@rhode is coming. Sign up at rhodeskin.com 👀🍩✨see you in June!” Launching in just two short months, were one step closer to seeing what Bieber has created, and celebrities are just as excited as we are. “Yay!!!” writes Kylie Jenner in the comments section. Other celebrities like Hyram and Lauren Perez chimed in too, with “SOOO excited!! 🤩👀” and “Can’t waittttttt.”
