Olivia Wilde’s eyes are one of her most striking features, and with all eyes on hers, she needed the perfect prep ahead of the Met Gala. Skin prep is just as important as makeup application, so celebrity makeup artist Jo Baker knew she had to lay a good foundation on Wilde.

To achieve an instant “eyelift in a bottle,” Baker used 111 Skin Eye Lift Gel NAC Y2 ($190) on Wilde’s under eyes, but that’s not all. Baker also used the brand’s Rose Gold Illuminating Eye Mask ($12). This mask features clinical-grade brightening ingredients to help rejuvenate the under-eye area. Together the products got Wilde red-carpet ready.

Once Wilde’s eyes were prepped, Baker used BAKEUP Desert Road Trip Micro Palm Palette ($24) and Laura Mercier Caviar Stick in Antique Gold ($32). Nude lips were a big trend on the red carpet—to achieve hers, Wilde wore a layer of Chantecaille in Patience and Chanel Rouge Coco in Deauville.

Celebrity hairstylist Mara Roszak used RŌZ products to create a hairstyle that would complement the look. “Inspired by Olivia’s goddess-like Chloe dress, recreated from Karl’s original in 1983, I wanted her hair to exude strong, healthy, shiny 70’s glamour,” says Roszak.
