Heather Locklear recently showed up to the premier of “This is 40” and at the age of 51, she looked more like the title of the movie. The truth is, we weren’t very surprised by this. The blonde bombshell has looked fantastic throughout her entire career.
“Heather emanates a youthful vibe that is both cute and sexy,” says her makeup artist Valerie Sarnelle. So how does she do it? Good question. For her makeup, she goes for a natural look, whereas in the 80s it was a different case. “Heather was in her 20s in the early 80s, which is evident in her big, feathered hair and over-the-top makeup,” says Sarnelle. Today, she opts for a soft brow, natural pink on the lips and cheeks and a subtle eye makeup look.
Her skin is also in great shape. “I would suspect she has had non-surgical treatments like Botox, chemical peels or laser treatments,” says Troy, MI, plastic surgeon Tony Youn, MD.
For her hair she wears longer layers in an ash blonde tone, keeping her look soft and youthful and as for her body, Heather is an avid exerciser. She works out regularly doing everything from yoga to lifting weights.
