Puffy skin is a common concern that comes up in almost every celebrity skin-care tutorial. Whether it’s caused by too much wine, a salty dinner, or lack of sleep, or other potential cuprits, both A-listers and the rest of us deal with it regularly. To address the issue, wellness tech giant Therabody has expanded its skin-care tool arsenal with one designed to tackle facial puffiness head-on. Meet the TheraFace Depuffing Wand ($149), now available for pre-order—and officially launching September 3.
This portable device offers both cold and hot treatment options at the push of a button. The cold treatment is a high-tech upgrade from the ice rollers you’ve likely seen all over TikTok or use regularly. It’s designed to reduce puffiness, refresh your undereyes, and minimize the appearance of pores. The heat treatment, on the other hand, boosts circulation, improves skin-care product absorption, and boosts your skin’s overall radiance. You can select from one of three temperature settings within each cold or hot option to make sure the temperature is comfortable.
The tool itself is lightweight and features a contoured applicator tip to target all areas of your face with ease. It also comes with a travel cap, making it easy to pack in your personal item for a flight or bring along on a road trip. As mentioned, you can already pre-order it on Therabody’s website, but it will also be available at Sephora—both online and in stores—on September 3, so you can snag it there and score some points through Sephora’s Beauty Insider rewards program.
Pre-Order the TheraFace Depuffing Wand
This new skin-care tool builds on the success of the TheraFace PRO. According to a press release, the high demand for the Hot & Cold rings sold separately for the TheraFace PRO inspired the creation of the Depuffing Wand.
The Depuffing Wand is poised to attract a celebrity following, much like the TheraFace PRO. Sydney Sweeney, for instance, raved about the device just days ago, saying that she throws it in her bag everywhere she goes. “It’s really good to use right after you wake up, or I’ll try to use it before red carpets or photo-shoot days,” she told The Strategist. “There’s different attachment heads—I’m not going to know the technical terms, but there’s a heated one, a cold one, and one with electrical currents. I’m not an expert. I honestly have no idea what it’s doing, but it definitely tones and sculpts my face. If I’m feeling puffy, though, I’ll just use an old-school ice roller.”
