We love us some Spate stats. According to the latest data house’s Sun Care Trends Report, the business of SPF is booming, with consumers becoming “more discerning” when it comes to options. One off-the-radar brand making a break for the sun-safety top: Thank You Farmer SPF, which has had a very impressive +90.1 percent year-over-year bump in search volume.
The K-beauty company isn’t new (it launched back in 2015 with 20 SKUs), but it’s clear it’s trending.
The line boasts what it describes as a “skin care UV protection line with refreshing texture that leaves no stickiness or white cast.” The farmer tie-in comes in because the company says it prides itself on producing products fueled by the “mindset of honest farmers who do not rely on good luck.” (Beyond luck, there’s also a lot in the brand’s ethos that’s tied into efficacy, high performance, functionality and integrity—all principles they tie back to lessons they’ve learned from farmers.)
