Think about how difficult it is to truly hide a pimple with concealer. Now imagine trying to hide more than 50 moles, most of which are dark brown and raised. Sounds nearly impossible right? Well, Russian makeup artist Goar Avetisyan just achieved the impossible.
After hearing the story about a Russian woman named Irina Pavlutskaya being abandoned by her parents as a baby after being born with a rare skin condition called neurocutaneous melanosis—she’s covered head to toe in moles—Avetisyan felt compelled to do something. According to DailyMail, she decided to offer Pavlutskaya a makeover. It would only be a temporary fix, but it would allow Pavlutskaya to see herself without her moles for at least one day.

To complete the incredible transformation (seen below), which has been viewed more than 1 million times on Instagram, Avetisyan followed several steps. After giving Pavlutskaya a smoky eye and defined brow, she applies some moisturizer to her face and sets her eye makeup with setting spray. Next, she applies a bright red color corrector (it looks as though it could actually be liquid lipstick, which has been used for color correction by other makeup artists before) on each mole to counteract the darkness. Then she blends in the red with a green color corrector to tone down the redness and create an even base for foundation. Lastly, she applies several pumps of Huda Beauty #FauxFilter Foundation to the skin and blends it in with a brush.
The result is nothing short of stunning, and you can’t help but feel a wave of emotion seeing the huge smile on Pavlutskaya’s face when she sees herself in the mirror. Bravo to you Goar Avetisyan! The world could use more generous acts like this one.
