Whether you’re a fan of the Los Angeles Lakers or not, it’s no debate that when it comes to basketball, LeBron James is one of the best there ever was. With countless NBA championships under his belt in addition to tons of MVP awards, it’s inarguable that James is an absolute legend in the world of sports.
While there’s no question about James’ athletic talents, the 39-year-old sports legend is always pushing boundaries and surprising fans with what he can do. LeBron James may not be the first name to come to mind when you think of celebrity beauty brands, but just this week, it was announced that the basketball superstar will be entering the beauty industry with the launch of his men’s grooming line, The Shop.
The Shop: LeBron James’ Debut Beauty Brand
In a partnership with Parlux—the company behind several celebrity beauty endeavors, like Billie Eilish and Paris Hilton’s fragrance lines—James’ men’s grooming line, The Shop, will officially be hitting Walmart stores across the country this coming April. Inspired by the talk show The Shop that sees James himself inviting guests like Snoop Dogg and David Beckham to barber shops in order to engage in debates and in-depth chats, The Shop is a minimalist, effective line of men’s grooming essentials.
While the press release for the brand didn’t share specific product details or prices, it has been revealed that the line will feature a shampoo and conditioner, face lotion, deep-conditioning beard cream, shave cream, face wash, aftershave-toner and a styling pomade, all of which will fall under an “accessible price range,” starting at as little as $10. Upon it’s launch in April, The Shop will be available in 1,600 Walmart stores nationwide, and we can all thank James for giving us some early Father’s Day gift inspiration.
