The stars are out for the 75th Emmy Awards, and actor Jeremy Allen White is once again causing fans to swoon. After an internet-breaking Calvin Klein campaign early this month that showed a lot of skin, you’re forgiven for wondering how exactly he keeps it looking so gorgeous. Luckily, celebrity groomer KC Fee shared her step-by-step process using the expert-loved Aesop, even giving us an exclusive back-stage look at the pre-carpet process.
Fee chose Aesop for their “classic, sophisticated product line with nourishing natural ingredients,” she says. The products are also geared towards refreshing moisture that Fee uses to “hydrate and calm his skin for a fresh look.”
Beginning with a gentle massage, Fee turned to the herbaceous and rapidly absorbing Parsley Seed Anti-Oxidant Intense Serum to provide a hydrating base with a matte finish, working the product into Allen White’s face and neck. The serum’s red algae and parsley seed formula fortifies skin against pollutants while powerful moisture keeps skin nourished.
To even out Allen White’s skin tone, Fee used B Triple C Facial Balancing Gel to soften the skin. Fee says she uses a quarter-sized amount of product and warmed it in her palms for 10-15 seconds, which allows the honey-like texture to emulsify.
Doubling down on hydration and moisture, Fee applied a light face cream, Seeking Silence Facial Hydrator, which she loves for its “calming and soothing properties that help with redness and irritation,” Fee explains. Afterwards, she went in with the Parsley Seed Anti-Oxidant Eye Cream, powered by vitamins C and E to nourish the under-eye.
Finally, with skin prep finished, Fee used the Fabulous Face Oil to enhance Allen White’s dewy glow, and applied the Cedar & Citrus Lip Salve to hydrate his lips for the red carpet.
