The MET Gala might be the pinnacle of high fashion and glamour—but it all starts with skin. The preparation involves more than just picking the perfect outfit; it requires a meticulous approach to hair, skin and nails. Celebrities invest hours into skin care to ensure they’re camera-ready for one of the most anticipated red carpets of the year. Here, the latest skin-care products and treatments that top celebrities used to get their skin Met Gala-ready.

Barry Keoghan: LED Mask

Celebrity facialist Iván Pol, founder of The Beauty Sandwich, helped Keoghan get his skin ready for the big event and prepped the “Saltburn” star for the night. Pol incorporated the Qure Q-Rejuvalight Pro Facewear LED mask ($349) in his treatment, which helps to treat acne, fine lines, wrinkles and dark spots. 

Cailee Spaeny: Microcurrent

The Priscilla star had a treatment with celebrity makeup artist Loren Canby who applied microcurrent using the Bio-Therapeutic bt-sculpt device to give Spaeny a lifted look for the night. The treatment is designed to enhance contours and is quick and effective, which makes it perfect for a Met Gala prep.

Riley Keough: Shani Darden’s High-Tech Facial

The Daisy Jones & The Six star visited celebrity aesthetician Shani Darden for her Met Gala skin-care prep. Darden blended her effective skin-care treatments which include facial steaming, blue light, red light and vibrational therapy, resulting in Keough’s glowing complexion.

Lauren Sanchez: The Beauty Sandwich Facial

Sanchez also prepped for the Met Gala with celebrity facialist Iván Pol. Sanchez shared her pre-Met Gala facial on Instagram, highlighting her contoured features and dewy skin. The Beauty Sandwich’s treatments are known for giving the face a contoured look with his signature facial.

Emily Ratajkowski and Paloma Elsesser: Radiant Treatments

Model Emily Ratajkowski prepped for the Met Gala with facialist Raquel Medina-Cleghorn from Raquel New York. Her treatment included products from NEOVA, a brand known for addressing photodamage and photoaging. Elesser, another top model, also turned to Medina-Cleghorn for her Met Gala skin care. Like Ratajowski, Elsesser’s treatment also involved NEOVA products. This specialized facial ensured Ceretti was red carpet-ready with a smooth, radiant complexion.

Dior skin care expert and ambassador Sarah Akram prepped and pampered Kaling at the Dior Beauty Suite at the Mark Hotel. The facial suite was home base for the facialist’s MET Gala A-list prep and Kaling looked hydrated, illuminated and ready for the night.

Mindy also shared that she achieved her stunning glow by using Lion Pose’s Unspotted 4X Serum, a nighttime serum that helps with hyperpigmentation, acne scars and dark spots.

Lea Michele: Shani Darden’s Signature Treatment

The “Glee” star brought her baby bump on the red carpet but before she did she visited with Shani Darden for her signature facial treatment. The facial included vibration therapy, a light chemical peel, oxygen therapy, microcurrent and LED light therapy to promote a tight, sculpted, look.
