Brittany Cartwright has her revenge body in mind, and to streamline her curves, The Valley star turned to AirSculpt, a liposuction procedure performed under twilight sedation. Although we were under strict instructions to not discuss the upcoming season of the show or her rocky relationship with soon-to-be ex-husband Jax Taylor, Cartwright did take time to share details about her post-baby transformation and which version of her fans can expect this season.
What inspired you to try AirSculpt, and can you tell me a little bit about your treatment and how you feel about your results?
I was first inspired by my friend Kristen Doute. She did AirSculpt before me, and as soon as she started talking about the process, I thought, ‘I need to do that.’ After seeing her results, I was sold. Plus, after having my son, I gained a lot of weight and struggled with areas like my lower stomach, where I had saggy skin and stretch marks. Even after losing weight, nothing worked on those targeted areas. AirSculpt helped with skin tightening and gave me my shape back. My surgeon and his team were amazing. The procedure was easy—I was awake but didn’t feel any pain. My friend Zach, who’s also a cast member, was with me the whole time. Healing time was quick and I started seeing results immediately. I feel incredible and would absolutely do it again.
Has it changed your shopping experience or how you feel in your clothes?
Oh, absolutely. It’s really helped me get my confidence back. I’m so proud of my body for what it’s been through, but I wanted to feel like myself again. I’ve been through a lot this year, and doing something for myself felt empowering. I feel better in my clothes now, and I’m not spending an hour trying to find something that fits. It’s definitely given me a big confidence boost.
We know you can’t talk much about the next season of The Valley, but which version of Brittany can we expect to see this season?
You’ll definitely see a stronger Brittany who’s focused on putting herself first.
You’ve shared your plastic surgery journey before on Vanderpump Rules. Has your outlook changed? Is there anything you would have done differently?
I wish I had done AirSculpt sooner! I’ve always talked about wanting a Mommy Makeover but kept putting it off because I thought I’d have more kids. One thing I love about AirSculpt is that it works with your skin, so if I do want to get pregnant again, it won’t affect that. I’m also very open and honest about what I do—I’ve had Botox, I’ve had my boobs done, and I’m happy to share my experiences if it helps another woman feel confident in her own body.
What beauty products are you obsessed with right now?
Oh my gosh, I love Fenty by Rihanna—her foundation, tinted sunscreen and lip glosses. For my hair, I’ve been using the T3 straightener, and I’m really into body oils and shimmery products, like Tom Ford’s Soleil Blanc Shimmering Body Oil ($110). My favorite scent right now is Burberry Goddess Eau de Parfum ($168), and for makeup, I love Urban Decay’s 24/7 Glide-On Waterproof Lip Liner ($25) and L’Oréal’s Voluminous Carbon Black Volume Building Mascara ($11). It’s been a go-to for years!
We love seeing you as a mom to Cruz. What’s the biggest lesson you’ve learned since becoming a mom?
You can plan all you want, but things won’t always go as expected. My son has a speech delay, and we’re in speech and occupational therapy, so it’s been a learning experience for me. But I truly believe I was meant to be his mom, and it’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me. I love him so much.
