What is naringenin? How does it work in skin care?

How does naringenin work in DEINDE products?
In the skin-care industry, buzzy ingredients seem to pop on the daily. So, what makes naringenin so different? As Oswald explains, “We found biotech naringenin to quench inflammaging by 96 percent when applied to stressed skin cells at the recommended active level. Specifically, biotech naringenin significantly reduced core inflammatory markers IL-6 and TNF-α by 96 percent and 78 percent respectively, effectively helping reset skin’s inflammatory levels almost back to pre-stressed levels. Biotech naringenin is also scientifically proven to inhibit elastase activity to protect skin elastin and inhibit glycation to help prevent loss of skin elasticity. Our custom 8-week placebo-controlled, double-blind clinical study found that 100 percent of participants had a measured improvement in moisturization and 100 percent had a measured improvement in elasticity, along with 97 percent of participants demonstrating reduction in deep wrinkles and fine lines, at both four weeks and eight weeks, with twice daily application.”
