If you’ve watched all of the iconic Netflix original Emily in Paris or just a stray episode here and there, you know there is a lot to take in. From the scenic Parisian backdrop to Emily’s eccentric and sometimes outlandish outfit choices, watching the French-based sitcom is a treat for the senses.
As a beauty lover, when watching Lily Collins in her titular role as Emily, I can’t help but be taken aback by her radiant complexion, cascading hair and, of course, her iconic eyebrows. Brows as sharp and full as Collins’ are somewhat of a genetic miracle, but even the best brows need a little help before they step onto the silver screen. Ahead, the products Collins’ MUA uses to create her legendary eyebrows.
Lily Collins’ Emily in Paris Brow Routine
In an exclusive interview with Page Six, Collins’ makeup artist Aurélie Paye revealed that, while Collins’ naturally full brows serve as the perfect canvas for any brow look, she opts for Benefit’s Goof Proof Waterproof Easy Shape & Fill Eyeliner Pencil ($26) to fill in any sparse areas on the brows before locking the style in with either Anastasia Beverly Hills’ Clear Brow Gel ($27) or Charlotte Tilbury’s Brow Fix Brow Gel ($26).
If you want to achieve Lily’s bold brows the Benefit way, Benefit’s National Brow and Beauty Authority Autumn Estelle says that, starting with the Goof Proof pencil, “If you choose a color that mirrors the depth and undertone of your hair, you can spot fill your brows for a natural finsh, just like Lily, and the product is undetectable.” To finish the look, Estelle recommends Benefit’s Fluff Up Brow Wax ($26), noting that “The key to making brow makeup last is to add a sheer, flexible hold after spot-filling.”
