This week, Grammy winner Camila Cabello is in Paris for Fashion Week where she is walking in the Le Défilé “Walk Your Worth” fashion show. As the official partner of Paris Fashion Week, L’Oréal Paris invited the public to celebrate women’s empowerment, inclusion and sisterhood at show, which was held at the Place de l’Opéra. Kendall Jenner, Eva Longoria, Viola Davis and other L’Oréal Paris international spokespeople joined Cabello, who was able to sneak away for a couple minutes to talk beauty with me. Here, our chat about her longtime staples, favorite TikTok hacks and more.
First, I love your new hair look. Is that part of your beauty routine as the seasons change?
“Thank you! I went back to my natural dark hair! I love to go with the darker colors as it gets colder.”
And speaking of hair, are there any products you’ve used for years that you can’t imagine your routine without?
“I love the Elnett hairspray and have used it forever! Hairspray finishes off my hair look and keeps it in place, so I don’t need to worry about my hairstyle!”
I know you take your skin-care routine seriously. How do you maintain your glow?
“I am very into my skin-care routine. I double cleanse and the whole thing! But I also drink lots of water. I always like my skin to glow, and I prefer the natural look.”
Are there any beauty trends on TikTok that have caught your eye lately?
“I love the current eyebrow trend of lifting up your eyebrows. I feel like it really changes my face! For products, I also like to use the L’Oréal Paris Brow Definer and Infallible Brow Lamination.”
What do you like to do when you’re not working and you finally get some alone time?
“I like to watch movies and TV series, read, go in the sauna, meditate—all of that!”
You’re currently in Paris for Fashion Week. What is your favorite thing about Le Défilé?
“The message, the camaraderie, the people—it’s a fun time!”
