Anne Hathaway just gave us one of the best TikTok moments of the week with a “What’s In My Bag” video. The 41-year-old actress, casually dressed in a crew-neck sweatshirt, black sunglasses, and bold fire-engine red lipstick, exuded effortless chic vibes as she filmed the clip. She kicked things off by pulling a Post-It Note out of her bag that read, “40 days until the election,” reminding her followers to check their voter registration status. Then, she got into it—the bag, that is.
Among the wellness must-haves were anti-nausea smelling salts, Band-Aids, antibiotic ointment, and not one but two pairs of sunglasses (indoor and evening, naturally). Hathaway then warned her 600,000 TikTok followers, “I have a lot of products in here,” asking, “Do you really want to see all of these?” (The answer, of course, was yes.) Lucky for us, she walked through them by name, starting with a classic: the Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler ($25)—a tool her Devil Wears Prada character, Andie, once famously overlooked. Clearly, that’s no longer the case for Hathaway.
Her love for luxury beauty was on full display as she continued to reveal her go-to products, flashing them to the camera one by one: Tarte Opening Act Lash Primer ($27), Westman Atelier Baby Cheeks Blush Stick in the shade Petal ($48), Jillian Dempsey Flyck Trick Mascara ($26)—and more. It’s clear she keeps all the essentials for a full face of makeup on the go (and honestly, we get it). She even surprised us with two drugstore favorites: a Wet Brush ($11), which is a must-have for preventing breakage, FYI, and last but not least, Native Deodorant ($13).
